On 5 October 2018, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy announced the training providers selected for the digital and soft skills trainings foreseen within the framework of the Luxembourg Digital Skills Bridge pilot project.

House of Training, Chambre des Salariés and PwC Academy have been selected to provide the digital skills trainings. The soft skills trainings, on the other hand, will be held by House of Training, Chambre des Salariés, PwC Academy and Ajilon.

These trainings will allow the participating employees to acquire the required digital and soft competences, in addition to the necessary job-specific skills they will learn. The trainings will prepare the participating employees for their new job positions and will allow them to successfully perform the new tasks they will be given. The key objective of these trainings is to provide employees with an effective toolbox to enhance their professional resilience in a world marked by rapid technological change and changing employer needs due to the impact digitalization has on their businesses.

In the context of the Luxembourg Digital Skills Bridge programme, the digital and soft skills trainings form the common basis for every participating employee. Different levels of difficulty are available for each course type. After a preliminary skills assessment, participants will be directed to the classes that match with their existing competences and the targeted levels of expertise.

In the upcoming weeks, the selected training providers will train the Luxembourg Digital Skills Bridge employees and support them in their upskilling efforts.
